ABOUT US
OUR HISTORY
Welcome to Casa Rural O Budiño, a place full of history and charm in Budiño de Serraseca. Our rural tourism house dates back to 1753, when the Ensenada Cadastre recorded the main house under the name of its then owner, Benito Álvarez, a weaver. Since the 18th century, Casa Budiño has witnessed numerous renovations and expansions, each one respecting its original essence and adding value to its historical legacy.
In 1997, the current owners acquired this heritage gem and embarked on a careful rehabilitation process. Guided by the project of architects Fraga, Quijada, and Portoles, they preserved the authenticity and character of the house while adapting it to modern comforts. Today, Casa Rural O Budiño is a retreat that combines tradition and comfort, offering its visitors a unique experience in a natural and peaceful setting.
At Casa Rural O Budiño, we not only offer a place to stay but an invitation to immerse yourself in the rich history and serenity of Budiño de Serraseca.
Come and discover the essence of our home, where the past and present intertwine harmoniously!
