FARM

By the river, between the mountains and the sea.

Budiño de Serraseca occupies an ecologically privileged location, in the Serra Do Argalo, at the foot of the Campo de Ocaladiñeira and the ridge that separates the parish of Viladesuso from the neighboring one of Mougás.

The 5,000 m2 property, next to the Broi River, preserves the vegetation typical of riparian forests. Willows, alders, laurels, and elderberries, along with oaks and chestnuts, are the most abundant species that shelter a varied fauna, with birds including different species of titmice, wagtails, blackbirds, finches, reed warblers, jays, cuckoos… in the spring and summer months, and hawfinches, thrushes, pipits, and black flycatchers… in winter.

Ethnographic Complex.

Budiño de Serraseca preserves several structures (granary, water mill, laundry, and flax dam) that attest to its past as a prosperous farmhouse.
